Notice from the District Chairman:
“Only one candidate had filed to be District Chairman. The provisions of the Call we approved at our February 5 meeting, state, “If only one (1) qualified candidate files for District Chairman, that candidate shall be deemed elected and the Convention cancelled.”
Consistent with and fulfilling the provisions of the Call, the District Convention of the 1st Congressional District of the Republican Party of Virginia is hereby cancelled.”
