So far this Congress, the House, under Democratic Leadership, has missed several key deadlines to fully fund our government for 2020, and has focused on costly and distracting impeachment proceedings while ignoring what really needs to be done: the work of the people.
This week Congressman Wittman sent a bipartisan letter to Speaker Pelosi demanding greater accountability from our elected officials in Washington. His bill, the No Budget No Pay Act, would withhold Members’ paychecks if Congress was unable to complete a budget on time, our most basic responsibility as a legislative body.
